Parents ask
When do Dixie Boys players need a BBCOR bat?
In Pre-Majors and Majors, where only BBCOR .50 and wood bats are approved. Younger divisions also allow bats with the USA Baseball mark. In every division the rulebook requires a 2 5/8 in barrel, so smaller youth barrels aren't allowed. (2026-2027 Dixie Boys rulebook)
