Parents ask

Are 2 3/4 in barrel bats allowed in PONY?

No: they're prohibited in all PONY divisions. Bats need the USA Baseball mark, unless they're -3 BBCOR bats. (PONY Rule 8-C)

When does PONY require BBCOR?

Colt 16U and Palomino 19U may only use 2 5/8 in, -3 BBCOR bats. (PONY Rule 8-C)

Can a tee ball bat be used?

Not with a pitched regular ball: PONY allows tee ball bats with a pitched ball only if it's a Level 5 or softer safety ball, and coach-pitch bats with the USA Baseball mark only in coach-pitch play with a safety ball. (PONY Rule 8-C)
