Independent: we don't sell bats, and stores can't pay for placement. How we work

What bat is legal for 7U USSSA?

7U USSSA, current rules: Any bat with the USSSA 1.15 BPF mark, the USA Baseball mark or BBCOR is allowed, in any drop. So is a licensed wood bat.

Checked Oct 27, 2026. Confirm with your league before you buy: local leagues and tournaments can set their own rules, stricter or looser than the national ones. The rule in full and its sources.

Typical bat size for 7U players

Bat makers' charts put most 7-year-olds at 24–26 in (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini, Rawlings) and suggest a -11 drop (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini). That's a guide, not a rule: height, weight and strength matter more, so see what size bat your kid needs. Your league's limits above always come first.

The rule allows every size of these bats, so every one in our catalog is legal here: 28 USSSA (1.15 BPF) bats, 24 USA Baseball (USABat) bats, 53 BBCOR bats. Each list has every size; the bats above are the ones in the typical size for this age.
