What bat is legal for 10U USSSA?
10U USSSA, current rules: Any bat with the USSSA 1.15 BPF mark, the USA Baseball mark or BBCOR is allowed, in any drop. So is a licensed wood bat.
Checked Oct 27, 2026. Confirm with your league before you buy: local leagues and tournaments can set their own rules, stricter or looser than the national ones. The rule in full and its sources.
Typical bat size for 10U players
Bat makers' charts put most 10-year-olds at 28–29 in (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini, Rawlings) and suggest a -11 or -10 drop (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini). That's a guide, not a rule: height, weight and strength matter more, so see what size bat your kid needs. Your league's limits above always come first.
