What bat is legal for Little League Intermediate 50/70 and Junior League?

Little League Intermediate 50/70 and Junior League, current rules: Use a bat with the USA Baseball mark or a BBCOR bat (or one-piece wood), no longer than 34 in, with a barrel no wider than 2 5/8 in. USSSA bats aren't allowed.

Checked Oct 26, 2026. Confirm with your league before you buy: local leagues and tournaments can set their own rules, stricter or looser than the national ones. The rule in full and its sources.

Typical bat size for ages 11 to 14

Bat makers' charts put most players aged 11 to 14 at 30–32 in (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini, Rawlings) and suggest a -10, -8 or -5 drop (Louisville Slugger, DeMarini). That's a guide, not a rule: height, weight and strength matter more, so see what size bat your kid needs. Your league's limits above always come first.
