AABC ages are the player's age on April 30, and the cutoffs move a year each season: for 2026, Ken Griffey Jr. is born on or after May 1, 2010, Mickey Mantle 2009, Don Mattingly 2008 and Connie Mack 2007 (each with a grade exception in the handbook); Stan Musial has no age limit. This covers AABC's Ken Griffey Jr. (15U), Mickey Mantle (16U), Don Mattingly (17U), Connie Mack (18U) and Stan Musial (adult) divisions in tournament play. The 2026 handbook prints the barrel limit as 2.61 in. A local league can set its own rules, so check with yours.
